This is not the first time. When Rajamouli spoke about making Mahabharata, Aamir also began planning his own version. It feels like Aamir jumps in before Rajamouli can start.

Some say it’s bad timing. Others believe Aamir doesn’t want Rajamouli to have full control over big ideas in Indian cinema.

After RRR, Rajamouli’s reach is huge. Aamir may be trying to stay in that race, especially after his last film didn’t work.

Both films are about Dadasaheb Phalke, the father of Indian cinema. But with both versions heading in the same direction, the question is simple—will both films happen?

Or will one back out? Either way, this is turning into a story of more than just cinema—it’s about who gets there first.
