2024 has not been so good for Bollywood. Following the success of Stree 2, there is an expectation that the lineup of hit films will not stop once again. While we are around two months away from 2025, the year is expected to end with a bang with the release of Baby John, featuring Varun Dhawan in the lead.

Ever since the announcement came out around eight months ago, Baby John has created a lot of excitement among all those who love action films. As per the latest update, a glimpse of another character, Babbar Sher, was also recently revealed by the makers.

Babbar Sher is portrayed by Jackie Shroff and the introduction video starts by focusing on the eyes of the character as he looks intense. He eventually gets into action as we see him punching an individual with a beedi in his hand. The glimpse ends with a brutal shot where the character uses an axe to kill someone.

The glimpse has received a positive response from the audience, with most of them praising Jackie Shroff’s overall appearance. People additionally expressed their eagerness to watch Jackie and Varun confronting each other on the big screen.

Baby John is arriving in theatres on December 25, 2024, which will also mark Christmas Day. Considering that it is releasing on a holiday, the film is expected to take an amazing start at the box office.

Notably, Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par was reported to be released on the same day. However, it has been postponed to March or April next year. Apart from this, S. Shankar’s Game Changer, featuring Ram Charan was also aiming for a Christmas release but was eventually shifted to Sankranthi 2025.

This means that Baby John will get a solo release for the Hindi audience. Although Mufasa: The Lion King is arriving around five days before that, it won’t be a tough competitor since only Hollywood lovers would book tickets for the same.
