It looks like Aamir Khan is not interested in making his film successful. The superstar is reportedly clashing with Housefull 5 by bringing his upcoming project Sitaare Zameen Par on the same day.
Although the makers of Sitaare Zameen Par are yet to share an official announcement, it looks like Aamir is having some kind of issue with Akshay Kumar due to which he is planning to release his film in June this year. A similar thing has already happened in the past.

Back in 2022, Aamir approached Sajid Nadiadwala to postpone Akshay’s Bachchhan Paandey so that he could release Laal Singh Chaddha.
While Bachchhan Paandey came out on the date that was already finalized, Laal Singh Chaddha clashed with Akshay’s another film the same year, Raksha Bandhan.

There is no specific reason why Aamir is choosing to clash with Akshay’s film on the same day. There are many dates available throughout the year and he can easily release Sitaare Zameen Par.
Moreover, this year’s Holi did not witness a release of a big film in theatres and Aamir’s film could have easily survived if the content was not up to the mark. It is undoubtedly a big loss for Aamir who did not opt for a big release on Holi.

Meanwhile, Akshay’s fans are already angry with Aamir for taking a decision so suddenly.
In today’s situation where films are not working at the box office, clashes should be avoided. It also raises a question of Bollywood’s unity, leading to more trolling and negativity about films.
While the clash is possibly expected to happen now, it will be interesting to see who will emerge as the winner in the end.
