
Akshay Kumar seems to be on the verge of repeating history in terms of recreating his golden era back from 2019.
2019 had turned out to be a phenomenal year for Akshay, as four of his films had turned out to be superhits.

The year had kicked off with Kesari, subsequently followed by Housefull 4, Mission Mangal, and Good Newz. With all four of them getting love from the public, 2019 had been nothing short of a memorable year for Akshay.
Ironically, this year is showing some similar trends, starting off with Kesari 2, followed by Housefull 5, and then Jolly LLB 3, sending the public’s anticipations on a trip to the moon.

While Kesari 2 has got exceptionally positive reviews and word of mouth, with Akshay’s performance praised all around, the collections have been fairly average, despite it being the Good Friday holiday due to a supposed lack of public interest.
It will be interesting to see if Kesari 2 manages to utilise the weekend to its full extent, achieving the necessary growth to seal Akshay’s fate into a second golden age in 2025.
