Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan have reportedly invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi for attending the forthcoming Raj Kapoor Centenary Film Festival.
But Modi attending the festival might spark some new controversies. There is a lot going on in the country right now and instead of addressing them, going to a festival will not leave a very good mark.

The Prime Minister has already been criticised for promoting ‘The Sabarmati Report’ that comes from Ekta Kapoor who is known for producing many soft porn movies and also has a POCSO case upon her.
The Raj Kapoor Centenary Film Festival is indeed a very important event in Indian cinema, but does it stand as something more important that the protests in Manipur or other contemporary issues like that.

Prime Minister Modi will be inviting more controversy and criticism by going on to attend the film festival without taking care of the burning agendas in the country now.
The festival will be hosted by the Kapoor family and other important people from the film fraternity and it will have screenings and memorial lectures in honour of the legendary Raj Kapoor.
