The film stood out as a truly unique experience—unlike anything Indian audiences had seen before.

It showcased how mainstream actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar can also experiment with new stories and craft engaging plots.

The film was heavily liked by the viewers and critics but didn’t have a respectable box office collection. While it displayed unique and a never-before-seen concept, many fans want a sequel of the film.

While it was proposed that a sequel of the film might be released, however, all these ideas and proposals have been scrapped after several casting and directing changes.

As Bollywood badly needs an Aankhen sequel, only time will tell if the film will ever have a remake and if will it be able to deliver or not.
