Ananya Panday has reportedly walked out of Imtiaz Ali’s much-awaited period love story to join the cast of Karan Johar’s rom-com “Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri” along with Kartik Aaryan.

The actress insists that there was no conflict, but the industry is rife with speculations that the decision must have been taken under some pressure, since Ananya may like to be a part of Karan Johar’s filmography, and also due to Kartik’s current stardom.
While Ananya argues that she’s doing so just because of the date clashes, others say the actress is passing on an excellent opportunity to bring out something different in the actor by directing under Imtiaz Ali.

As the master director is more famous for telling new-age and in-depth storylines with each character. On the contrary, Karan Johar’s films, usually grandeur and glamour marked, follow a pretty predictable pattern that may not challenge her artistic growth.
However, the attraction to be part of the KJo camp and be associated with Kartik, who has skyrocketed to fame overnight, is a temptation that appears too strong to resist. It is said, not everything shining is gold.
