20 years have passed and we are still waiting for Andaz Apna Apna 2. Every time Aamir Khan or Salman Khan talks about Andaz Apna Apna 2, we get excited—only to be left disappointed.
So when Aamir recently said that both he and Salman want to make the film if the script is right, we couldn’t help but wonder: Is this finally it or are they just stringing us along again?

Let’s be real: how many times have we heard Aamir or Salman say “It’s happening”? For the past 20 years it’s been a repeat performance.
Each time we get excited, but there’s no follow up. The original Andaz Apna Apna is a classic. It’s one of the best comedies in Indian cinema and it still holds up.

But after 20 years of false starts can Andaz Apna Apna 2 live up to the hype? Fans aren’t just disappointed, they’re exhausted from hearing the same promises over and over.
When Aamir says “It’ll happen if we like the script” do we really believe it? Fans have been burned too many times. Andaz Apna Apna’s sequel is now a joke—repeatedly teased but never delivered.

The real question is: will we even care if it happens? Can Aamir and Salman rekindle the magic of Amar and Prem after all this time? Or is this just another way to keep us hooked?
