The highly anticipated project of SRK, King, is all set to go on floors from 20 May. It has been reported that Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone will play love interests with Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi and Abhay Verma in key roles.
It has been a buzzing news of the day ever since reported by Pinkvilla that Anil Kapoor has also joined the star cast of the Sidharth Anand directorial. He was earlier casted by him in Fighter as a mentor figure to Hrithik Roshan and his role of Ranbir Kapoor’s father in Animal was considered a top notch performance by anyone who watched the film.

Similarly, in King too, he will play a guiding figure to SRK and fans can’t hold back on their excitement of this ravishing star cast. The star cast has a pretty solid list of A-listers and fans are can’t wait for further updates.
The set is being constructed for the domestic shoot and soon after indoors shooting is finished, the team will move to the Europe leg of the shooting. The stars are also undergoing martial arts training to make their action sequences look as realistic as possible.

The premise of the film seems unique and it depends on high end action. It will be interesting to see how many box office records this collaboration of SRK and Sidharth Anand breaks after their iconic release Pathaan.
