Singham Again is all set for the Box Office clash with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 this Diwali. But the news about its 7.2 minute change has taken fans by surprise and it supposedly offends Hindu religious sentiments.
With the spirit of its Diwali release, Singham Again heavily draws from the Ramayana. The appearance of scenes that juxtaposed religious deities with film’s characters didn’t sit well with the CBFC.

Many scenes where religious hymns like Shiva Strotam were used have been asked to be changed. Many direct references to Lord Rama, Sita and Hanuman have been asked to modify suitably.
There are scenes in which Simba is seen flirting, and others in which Ravana pushes Sita that has been asked to be chopped off. Also Arjun Kapoor’s Zubair calling himself the Ravana of the film has been asked to be modified.

The film is also supposed to carry a disclaimer that it is inspired by Ramayana but none of the characters should be viewed or revered as deities. This proves that many creative ambitions of Rohit Shetty have been erased by the CBFC.
Fans hope that this does not affect the essence of the film. The star studded project has already been struggling against Kartik Aryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.

The ultimate battle starting on 1 November will make it more clear who is the real hero of the Box Office between the two.
