Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna’s latest release Chhaava has performed exceptionally at the box office. They crossed 30 crore on the first day and are expected to make 105 crore by its first week if the trends follow the same way.
The state of Maharashtra has also announced that the film will be running round the clock in their theatres. Something similar happened with blockbusters like Pathaan, Jawan, KGF 2 etc.

The biggest strength of the film is its Maratha legacy associated with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Sambhaji Maharaj. Mass booking by their devotees has helped boost the film’s collection.
Other than that rumours are that the makers, Maddock Films, have also done self booking. Similar news also came out during Sky Force release but they could only earn 68 crore in the first weekend.

Fans are questioning whether Vicky has surpassed Akshay in his box office release. Many feel in the coming era he’ll be a bigger superstar than Akshay.
