
Deepika Padukone has recently spoke candidly about life as a new mother and how to balance returning to work without the stigma of guilt. Following the birth of her daughter, Dua Padukone Singh, in September 2024, Deepika is walking a tightrope between motherhood and a career as an actor.

During the Forbes 30/50 Summit in Abu Dhabi, she told that though she is not currently struggling, she is “figuring out” how she can balance her work and family responsibilities.
Deepika mentioned that motherhood has also had a deep impact on her attitude towards future roles. She termed this period in life as “incredible” and signified that it would quietly influence her future film choices. She also noted, however, that she was attuned to these dynamics even prior to becoming a mother.

In work life, Deepika’s forthcoming ventures involve the awaited sequel of “Kalki 2898 AD.” Despite critical reactions about her performance in the initial installment, viewers look forward to watching her progress in this sequel.
