Actress Dipshikkha Nagpal recently opened up about an encounter with Shah Rukh Khan on the sets of Koyla. According to her, this shifted the trajectory of her career. Recalling her first meeting, Dipshikkha shared how a brief but stinging comment from the superstar left her disheartened.
Dipshikkha spoke in detail about her first day on Rakesh Roshan’s 1997 film Koyla, where she met Shah Rukh for the first time.

Here’s what she said, “When Shah Rukh came, he was smoking. Rakesh Roshan also introduced her to the actor but all he said was, ‘Yeah, let’s see.’ That was like an ego hit for Dipshikkha.
That same determination later led to her role in Baadshah, a part she only learned was recommended by Shah Rukh himself. She reflected, “After Baadshah, Ratan Jain told me that Shah Rukh recommended my name. He never told me. That’s his greatness.”

The actress also went on to reveal that she maintained professionalism and neutrality with Shah Rukh despite becoming friends later.
