Rohit Basfore, an actor of the new season of popular web series The Family Man 3, was found dead near the Garbhanga Waterfalls in Assam on Sunday, April 27. He had just come back to Guwahati from Mumbai and had stepped out of his house at about 12:30 PM on that day for a picnic with friends.
When his family could no longer reach him later in the day, a friend told them about the accident, and they found his body with several injuries. Police reports reveal Basfore was having a picnic with nine fellow colleagues when he is said to have fallen into the waterfall.

Authorities were notified about the report around 4 PM, and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) found the body at 6:30 PM.
The primary police investigation implies accidental falling, and no criminal intent has yet been officially declared. Yet, an autopsy on the body identified head, facial, and other bodily injuries.

Basfore’s relatives have accused foul play and have suggested four suspects-including three with whom he was in a previous altercation and one gym operator who had invited him to the trip.
The police are investigating, with the listed individuals said to have gone into hiding. More information is expected as the case unfolds.
