
The first quarter of 2025 will end this month, and while there have been fewer blockbusters, a few of them managed to touch the mark of collections worth Rs. 200 crores worldwide.
Housefull 5, which is currently running in theatres, has finally managed to reach the list. However, it has to do a net collection of Rs. 250 crores or more to emerge as a big hit. It is a decent success for now and is yet to go a long way.

Apart from Housefull 5, two more Hindi films were able to grab a spot in the same list, including Chhaava and Raid 2.
Two films from Mollywood, Thudarum and L2: Empuraan, also made it to the list. Ajith Kumar’s Good Bad Ugly and Venkatesh’s Sankranthiki Vassthunam are also included.

With three films entering the Rs. 200 crore club, Bollywood is undoubtedly dominating the list. A few more big films are arriving in the upcoming months, and more titles are supposed to be a part of the list.
There is Kajol’s Maa, which is a horror film, and considering the popularity of the genre, the content is expected to pull audiences. Hrithik Roshan’s War 2 is also expected to reach on top of the list, considering the hype that has been generated by the teaser.

Ajay Devgn’s Son of Sardaar 2 is also arriving in theatres this year, and if the promotional material leaves a positive impression, the film might break some records.
The content of the films remains unknown for now, and only this will decide whether the upcoming projects will leave a big impact at the box office. Let’s wait and see if the teasers and trailers of these films will be attractive enough to pull audiences.
