The highly anticipated “Krrish 4” is a new beginning for the Bollywood super hero franchise, with Hrithik Roshan debuting as a director and returning to his legendary role.
This joint venture with Yash Raj Films and producer Aditya Chopra has created a lot of hype in the industry and is one of the largest Bollywood films till date.

A concept of time travel is the framework of the movie and promises a sci-fi spectacle that would push the franchise to new frontiers.
Not only does the theme take Indian super hero movies to a newer level, it also resurrects the elements from the origin of the franchise, Jadoo in “Koi. Mil Gaya” and lead characters Priyanka Chopra, Preity Zinta and Rekha will return to reprise their roles and bring together the timelines in a mega universe.

Hrithik will be doing a number of roles such as Rohit Mehra, Krrish’s father whose comeback is made possible by the time bending plot as per the report by Rahul Raut from Peeping Moon.
But the film is not without risks. The previous films were blockbusters but the franchise had lost its magic by “Krrish 3” and now the question remains how to ensure originality and story power.

Hrithik’s two hats of director and leading actor in a super hero movie of high budget is a risky venture that needs a solid writing crew to stay clear of actor turned director movie pitfalls.
People have a lot of expectations because “Krrish” was a childhood idol for most and Hrithik now has the onus of upholding that tradition and innovating2.
Also, there are reports that “Krrish 4” may have an open ending and may hand over the super hero baton to some new character, keeping in mind Hrithik’s age at release is about 55 and preparing for future franchise development.
