
In shocking turn of events, actor turned politician Kangana Ranuat was asked to delete her tweet in which she made comments against U.S President Donald Trump’s remarks on India.

Donald Trump who is on a four-day visit to the Gulf region, on Thursday revealed he had asked Apple CEO Tim Cook that he isn’t in favor of building iPhones in India.
Following which Kangana took to twitter to praise Prime Minister Modi unconventionally stating how he isn’t alpha but the “sab alpha male ka baap” followed by her opposing views on Trumps comments.

In the now deleted tweet Kangana wrote “What could be the reason of this love loss. 1) He is American President but world’s most loved leader is Indian Prime Minister. 2. Trump’s second term but Indian Prime Minister’s third term. 3. Undoubtedly Trump is alpha male but our PM is sab alpha male ka baap. ”
She followed this by questioning whether this move was “personal jealousy or diplomatic insecurity?”

Kangana has often used her platform to directly challenge world leaders and international relations blurring the lines between her ultra-nationalist stance and personal opinion.
With Apple wanting to shift major chunk of manufacturing in India within the upcoming year, Trump’s comments are indeed shocking.
Social media was into a frenzy so far as BJP president J.P Nadda had to personally contact Kangana asking her to delete the tweet and she complied but not without retaliating.
In a follow up apology tweet Kangana exposed how the BJP MP had caller her asking to take the tweet down and also added that she regretted post the “very personal opinions” of hers.
Social media is not eating up this controversy and many have raised concern about why can’t MPs raise their opinions about Trump or America?
This isn’t the first time Kananga has sparked political controversies online but this one is hard to ignore.
