Late director Sangeeth Sivan’s last film Kapkapii is finally releasing on May 23 this year. A teaser was revealed on April 25, which features all the entertaining elements that would pull audiences to the theatres.
Following the success of horror-comedy films like Munjya, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, and Stree 2, every production company is now trying its luck in the same genre. This time, Zee Studios and Bravo Entertainment have collaborated to bring a ride full of madness.

The teaser begins with the main characters playing with an Ouija Board, where one of them warns everyone else of the consequences that are expected to happen in case something goes wrong.
Although the teaser does not show anything else about the main storyline, we witness some funny sequences, including a scene where Shreyas Talpade enters the bathroom while someone else is using it. Meanwhile, we also get to see a glimpse of an item number at the same time.

Apart from Shreyas, the film features Tusshar Kapoor, Siddhi Idnani, and many others playing important roles. Although Sangeeth Sivan managed to leave an impact with his content in Malayalam, his Hindi films have not been so good, except for Kyaa Kool Hai Hum.
Considering that the film does not include big names, it remains to be seen if positive word-of-mouth would contribute to making it a hit. The trailer is not out yet, and the success will depend on the other promotional material. Let’s wait and see if Kapkapii will leave a huge impact at the box office.
