The buzz is all about Kesari 2. Originally a Shankaran biopic, it was all set to release on Holi 2025. Then Dharma Productions shifted it to April and replaced it with Dhadak 2 starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri.

Was this a smart move or is Karan Johar parking Akshay Kumar after Selfiee flopped?

Experts say Dharma Productions changed the title to Kesari 2 to cash in on Kesari (2019) which made ₹154 crore in India.

But a title alone doesn’t guarantee success especially with Akshay’s recent box office struggles. Was this a desperate attempt to revive interest in the film?
