Kartik Aryan might have risen to fame with blockbuster sequels like Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and 3 but he is not planning to remain in the same trend for a longer run.

He has started showing his commitment to experimental roles and giving chance to unique scripts already while rejecting franchises he has already been a part of in the past.
This proves that he is not stuck on projects just for the sake of remaining in them and he is filtering quality over quantity. Yet he is no short of films in his line-up and has some promising projects to offer for the future.

First up he will be seen in Anurag Basu’s musical romance this Diwali. It is speculated to be Aashiqui 3 although it might not be released with the same name due to some disputes.
After that he has the Dharma comedy Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri which will be released on Valentine’s Day 2026. He is also picking up one of its kind creature comedies Naagzilla which has a unique animal adventure trope for next 15 August.

With many films in his bag, he has the advantage to reject projects like Luka Chuppi 2, Border 2, and Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 which are being picked by the likes of Varun Dhawan or Ayushman Khurrana. It clearly shows that he is critically judging his choices and other actors are now being offered roles that he is rejecting.
Despite his annoying PR he has earned a reputation at the big screens that he wants to keep up with. Fans are admiring his commitment and calling it a new phase of his career.
