The trailer of Sonakshi Sinha’s upcoming film Nikita Roy was released on June 11, 2025. The new trailer features a mixture of supernatural thriller and investigative drama, which might keep audiences engaged.
The latest glimpse starts with a voiceover of a woman questioning the belief of an anonymous person about the existence of ghosts.

The trailer then starts showing some spine-chilling moments that do not stay on the screen for a long time, possibly because the makers might be aiming to show them directly in the film. We are slowly introduced to the characters at the same time.
Sonakshi Sinha is shown as an investigating officer for some department, and she is being helped by another character, played by Arjun Rampal. The trailer hints that the latter possibly knows a lot of things about the supernatural.

There is also a godman portrayed by Paresh Rawal, and Sonakshi wants to expose him in any manner, as she believes that he is a fake. In between all these, the lead characters are attacked by people who don’t look normal for some reason.

The trailer undoubtedly has some thrilling moments. Usually, such trailers have the potential to pull audiences to the big screen. However, Sonakshi cannot pull audiences alone until she is accompanied by a big star, which is missing in this film.
The tables might turn if the word-of-mouth is positive. The only hurdle is Aamir Khan’s Sitaare Zameen Par, which is releasing the previous week. In case SZP leaves a positive impression, people might not pay attention to Nikita Roy.
