After various rumors and speculations, Son of Sardaar 2 is finally arriving in theatres. A release date of July 25, 2025, has already been locked, and as per the latest update, the upcoming sequel to the 2012 film will get a solo release instead of clashing with another.
Notably, Siddharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s Param Sundari was supposed to arrive on the same day. The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan, and he has now decided to postpone it to another date.

Sources have claimed that Dinesh does not want to waste the commercial potential of Param Sundari, considering that its music will be an important part of everything that happens in the entire film. Moreover, Dinesh is reportedly not willing to clash with the sequel of a popular film that was a hit in 2012.
The makers of Param Sundari have not finalized a new release date, and they are aiming to bring it sometime in August or September. Further updates are currently awaited.

On the other hand, promotions of Son of Sardaar 2 are expected to begin in the next few days. The teaser is reportedly ready to be released to the audience, and people are waiting to witness whether the sequel will be something unique or will repeat the same old story.
Ajay Devgn getting a solo release is undoubtedly a big advantage for him. The sequel will easily pull audiences if the promotional material can leave a positive impression, and there are enough entertaining elements.

Although Son of Sardaar 2 will be competing with MCU’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps, it is not expected to impact the film in any manner until the film keeps audiences engaged from the beginning until the end. However, the recovery might get tough if the film has a high budget.
After the underwhelming response to Singham Again, Ajay Devgn desperately needs a hit or blockbuster. Let’s wait and see if Son of Sardaar 2 will help him in any manner.
