While Varun can deliver over-the-top performances as seen in Badlapur and October, his script selection might be the issue behind his successive flops.

As audiences demand something fresh and engaging, remakes and generic plot films can’t break the pattern and deliver something out of the box.

Despite his dedication and hard work, Varun’s poor script choices have damaged his box-office reputation in recent years.

As he prepares for Sunny Sanskari ki Tulsi Kumari, he will be working alongside Karan Johar who has given the actor several hits before the pandemic.

It remains to be seen if Varun Dhawan will be able to capture the audience with his charm and charisma like he did initially or if will he be again trapped in a circle full of dragged and generic scripts.
