The first look of Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 was released by the actor through his social media handles on March 24, 2025. A sequel to the 2018 hit film Raid, Raid 2 will arrive in theatres on May 1 this year.
A pile of files can be spotted in the background with Ajay Devgn standing in front of it and giving an intense look to the camera. While a lot of details about the premise have not been disclosed, it will possibly follow a similar pattern to the first film, with Riteish Deshmukh playing the villain this time.

Although Ajay has always impressed the audience with his performances, his same look with a moustache and beard is getting too boring now. Viewers have seen him with the same look after the pandemic in multiple films, including Drishyam 2, Auron Mein Kahaan Dum Tha, and Shaitaan.
Nothing much has changed so far and maybe it is the right time for Ajay to try something different, that will also give him a new look to leave a better impression.

While the makers have yet to reveal Riteish’s look as the antagonist, it will be an important part of the film, specifically in the progress of the film’s main storyline. Apart from that, his performance as the villain will be a necessary factor to help the film become successful.
Raid was able to accumulate almost Rs. 100 crores when it was released back in 2018. Based on that, Raid 2 needs to earn somewhere between Rs. 150 to Rs. 200 crores to become a hit.

Everything is dependent on the trailer. The makers have to cut a trailer with intense moments that will easily pull the audience to the big screen. With only a month left for release, let’s see if Raid 2 can hit the bull’s eye.
