Rani Mukherjee is one of the finest actresses in Indian cinema and has itched her name in history with her tremendous romantic films in the 2000s.

After having a great sequel in 2019, the franchise is back again with its third installment.
YRF has announced that Mardaani 3 will be released on February 27,2026 during the Holi weekend and the shooting of the film is underway.

By releasing a first-look poster for the film, Rani can be seen portraying her iconic character of Shivani Shivaji Roy.
The film will once again showcase a classic battle between good and evil showcasing how far can Shivani go to provide justice and maintain peace in the country.

After having a great start to the franchise in 2014, Mardaani 2 buzzed the entire industry with its over-the-top portrayal of the villain making the film a great watch.
It was boosted by the performances of actors like Vishal Jethwa, Shruti Bapna, Vikram Singh Chauhan and Rajesh Sharma alongside Rani Mukherjee.
With Mardaani 3, Rani has promised to go dark and brutal and aims to give tribute to all the life-sacrificing police officers who always stand up to the chance.
It remains to be seen how the third installment turns out to be as it offers to be the most lethal and dark one in the franchise.
