Salman Khan is suffering from low box office collections for the past few years. Although his presence on the big screen is making no impact his influence on the small screens have surely expanded.
Recently, the reports are buzzing high that Salman has been offered to host Kaun Banega Crorepati, the unmatched legacy of Amitabh Bachchan is rumoured to pass onto Salman. But fans are not entirely happy with this news and seem divided on the internet.

Some feel that Salman is already seen on the TV with Bigg Boss and now KBC will have too much small screen presence. This will diminish his already staggering big screen appeal.
In Bigg Boss he earns a lot of ill fame for showing his angry side and being biased at times. Bigg Boss itself has become a show of hyper-drama and vulgarity in the past few seasons.

Other groups of fans feel that it would be a positive move as a family show like KBC can improve his mass appeal. All the bad fame that Bigg Boss has earned him can be neutralised by showing a lively side of Salman here.
Though these are just discussions based on rumours it would be interesting to see if Salman really considers the offer to join KBC as a host.
