
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s on-screen romance with Rashmika Mandanna in the upcoming movie Sikandar has been the subject of widespread criticism, especially regarding the 31-year age difference between the two leads.

Social media has been abuzz with protests, with most jokingly raising an eyebrow over the possibility of a romance between “Dada and Poti” (grandfather and granddaughter).
Critics point out that while Rashmika allegedly charged ₹10 crore for her role, the actual discomfort is with viewers who have to see this odd couple play out on screen.

Salman, who is famous for his sarcastic comments, brushed aside these concerns at the trailer launch. He said that if Rashmika and her family did not have a problem with the age difference, then others should not worry either.
His statement about working even with Rashmika’s hypothetical daughter in the future fuelled more online trolling. But critics are not convinced, citing the absence of chemistry between Salman and Rashmika in trailers.

Most believe Rashmika looks boring alongside Salman, and Kajal Aggarwal would have been a more suitable choice because of her maturity and compatibility.
