The film, which was made by Deepak Bandhu and Dhaval Jayantilal Gada and directed and written by Muley, created records, as it became the top-opening re-released movie, overtaking Loveyapa, Badass Ravi Kumar, and even Interstellar.

Initially planned to be released on 50 screens, the unprecedented popularity of the film saw it being released on 1,061 screens on Friday and 1,200 on Sunday. It is all thanks to the enormous popularity of the film on streaming sites and social media, where it gained a dedicated fan base over the years.
The first audience that watched the film soon found themselves filled to the brim with the music and touching story of the movie, generating an unexpected wave of nostalgia and expectation.

The director Deepak Mukut also stated regarding the film never getting its deserving share in 2016 but the team never giving up on the film.
