Sikandar Release Date

All eyes are on Sikandar, the big-budget Salman Khan entertainer set to arrive in cinemas this Eid.

However, with only two weeks left until release, the film still hasn’t had an official release date confirmation in India.

Overseas markets are also inconsistent, with different regions listing different dates.

The film is reportedly set to release in the UAE on March 27 (Thursday), the UK on March 28 (Friday), North America on March 29 (Saturday), and Australia/Germany on March 30 (Sunday).

But there is still no confirmed release date for India.

There is a high chance that the film could be released on March 30 in India, coinciding with Eid.

Trade experts suggest that this would be a more logical choice, as many people would break their fast on Eid and head to theatres to celebrate.

If the film releases pre-Eid and the collections don’t meet expectations, it could generate negativity, with even fans discussing its underperformance. Hence, releasing on Eid would be a safer bet, as Salman Khan needs those numbers.

Apart from the lack of an official release date, Sikandar, starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, also hasn’t released an official trailer yet.

With such short notice before the release and minimal promotional material, the film may struggle to attract the audience it needs. This could significantly impact its box office performance.
