Salman Khan Sikandar Trailer

The much-awaited trailer of Sikandar, starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, has finally been released.

The film, directed by AR Murugadoss, promises a mix of action, emotions, and revenge, but the trailer has received an extremely mixed response. While Salman delivers some massy dialogues and emotional moments, the overall impact feels mid.

The 3-minute, 37-second trailer showcases Salman in a full-action avatar, taking on his enemies. A fight scene between Salman and Prateik Babbar stands out, and the action sequences look well-executed.

Rashmika Mandanna’s presence adds emotional weight, and she is seen singing the iconic Lag Jaa Gale, which has become a talking point. However, the choice of Iulia Vantur, Salman’s alleged GF, as the singer has drawn criticism, with many feeling that Shreya Ghoshal would have been a much better fit.

One of the biggest concerns is Salman’s low energy. His dialogue delivery feels as if he is hosting Bigg Boss, lacking the power expected from a film of this scale. Sathyaraj, who plays the main villain, carries huge responsibility, especially in the Hindi market, where his impact remains uncertain.

The trailer is too long and edited very badly. The last 30 seconds are good, but by the time the trailer reaches that point, the audience has already given up. The action scenes are good, but the dialogues are pretty ordinary.

AR Murugadoss seems to have made a commercial entertainer that used to be the norm two decades ago.

Going by the passable trailer, it looks like Sikandar might struggle to get an opening of more than 35 crores. It is trending somewhere between 25-30 crores on its first day, March 30.

But it’s Salman Khan, one of the biggest stars, so Sikandar might surprise at the box office.

However, we hope that the film turns out to be better than Sikandar’s trailer.
