Taapsee Anubhav Sinha

Anubhav Sinha is collaborating with Taapsee Pannu for a courtroom drama. The news comes almost seven years after the duo worked together in a film of the same genre, Mulk.

Notably, the upcoming film has not been given a name so far. However, it is not Mulk 2 since Anubhav is not interested in making a sequel. The makers are planning to explore a hard-hitting topic and deliver a message that would appeal to all sections of society.

Anubhav has once again considered bringing up a seemingly controversial topic without fear. Meanwhile, the film will also feature Manoj Pahwa and Kumud Mishra playing other important roles and Sinha will additionally serve as the producer under his company Benaras Media Works.

Both Anubhav Sinha and Taapsee Pannu are going through a tough phase since none of their films have worked over the last few years. While the former has somewhere established his reputation as a flawless director for another time with IC 814: The Kandahar Hijack, no one is interested in watching Taapsee Pannu anymore.

Taapsee used to be an underrated actress in the past. But today’s audience has easily rejected films with female leads. Gangubai Kathiawadi worked only because it was directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, or else it would have also been a flop.

Taapsee’s last few films have already received a negative response and she has mostly delivered disasters. Although she was a part of Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki, directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film was not up to the mark as per the expectations of the audience.

It is a common thing now that any film featuring Taapsee as the female lead will.not work at the box office. Taapsee is being praised nowadays only on OTT platforms and she has lost her reputation as a theatre actress a long time ago.




Except for Haseen Dilruba, the rest of her OTT projects have not been up to the mark. Now she is bringing this courtroom drama and only time will day if the film works or tortures the people who enter the theatrem
