This was likely the intention behind Tamannaah’s song Nasha in Raid 2.
The song was supposed to serve as a major PR anchor to generate buzz for the film. However, it failed to make any impact.

To make up for it, the makers have now decided to release a new item number today, featuring Jacqueline Fernandez.
Interestingly, the first film had no item songs, but Raid 2 already has two.

The audience found the trailer underwhelming, and Tamannaah’s item number didn’t land either. Now the question is- can Jacqueline’s song generate the hype the film needs?
The film marks the return of IRS officer Amay Patnaik, played by Ajay Devgn, as he investigates another high-profile white-collar crime. For a serious, no-nonsense film like this, having two item numbers seems unnecessary. Unless it’s a desperate attempt to seek attention.
Bollywood’s obsession with using women in skimpy outfits to boost visibility doesn’t seem to be working like it once did.
It’ll be interesting to see whether this new song, titled Money Money, manages to create the buzz the film has been lacking. We’ll have to wait and watch if it can shift the film’s fortunes, even just a little.
