Bollywood’s biggest stars are turning to South Indian directors to revive their box office dominance. The three Khans — Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan — are all exploring collaborations with South filmmakers to tap into their recent success.
Salman Khan is teaming up with A.R. Murugadoss for Sikandar, a high-octane action entertainer set for March 28, 2025. Inspired by SRK’s Jawan success, Salman hopes Murugadoss’ proven track record with Ghajini and Thuppakki will deliver a winner.

While Salman’s next project is still undecided, he’s reportedly considering scripts from both Bollywood and South directors. His earlier plans to collaborate with Atlee didn’t materialize, but Salman is still exploring options like Kick 2 with Kabir Khan and a Dharma Productions project with a South Indian filmmaker.
Shah Rukh Khan, riding high on Jawan’s success, is focused on King with Siddharth Anand and Pathaan 2. Though he recently met Pushpa 2 director Sukumar, there’s no confirmed project between them. Rumors suggesting a finalized film with Sukumar are false, as both are currently occupied with other commitments.

Aamir will also make a cameo in Lokesh’s Rajinikanth-starrer Coolie, with Lokesh delaying Kaithi 2 to prioritize the superhero film once Aamir confirms.
