A new online job scam is making waves, tricking people with enticing offers for part-time work that supposedly involves ‘liking,’ ‘subscribing,’ and ‘reviewing’ posts.
This scheme has recently targeted Telugu actor Bishnu Adhikari, who has reportedly lost around Rs 45 lakh to the fraudsters.

The scam began when Bishnu was promised earnings by performing simple tasks on YouTube.
Initially, he did receive some payments, which encouraged him to invest more money, hoping for substantial returns. However, the scammers continued to exploit him, demanding additional payments and tasks.

It wasn’t until Bishnu had already deposited a significant amount that he realized he was being scammed. Desperate, he reached out to the cyber police for help.
Bishnu Adhikari, well-regarded for his roles in Telugu cinema and his directorial debut with the action film Hitman, is now facing the aftermath of this scam.
