Actor Allu Arjun, who is an accused in the Sandhya Theater Stampede Incident was taken into Police Custody this morning. This has come totally unexpected and now the actor has approached the High Court.
It is known that Bunny had filed a petition in the High Court seeking to quash the case registered by the Chikkadapalli police. Shortly after his arrest on Friday, Allu Arjun’s lawyer requested the court to hear it as an urgent petition.

“Shouldn’t the urgent petition be mentioned only at 10.30 am?” the court asked on this occasion.
Allu Arjun’s lawyer Niranjan Reddy brought to the court’s attention that the petition was filed on Wednesday and that the police had also been informed that a quash petition had been filed.

Responding to this, the court said that the petition would be heard on Monday.
In view of the current situation, the petitioner’s lawyer requested that it be accepted as a lunch motion petition. He explained that the petition was filed on Wednesday and the case number might not have been included in the list as the court staff is busy.

The government lawyer brought to the court’s attention that it was not right to hear the lunch motion petition at 1.30 pm.
Allu Arjun’s lawyer Niranjan Reddy requested the court to order the police not to take any action in the case until Monday. However, the government lawyer told the court that he would inform the court only after collecting details from the police.
The matter is likely to be heard at 2.30 PM.
