
South Indian music sensation Anirudh Ravichander is one of the biggest names associated with the film industry now. There are several locations in the recent past, where he almost single handedly saved many films with his background score.
However, this does not necessarily apply to all films, and here is looking into the reason why.

Anirudh’s latest work Vidaamuyarchi released in theaters today and it opened to a mixed reception. Setting aside the review reviews and opening the reception, the work put up by Anirudh is not getting the right kind of reaction.
There are several complaints that Anirudh’s background score, and a musical work for this film are strictly ordinary. We don’t even get an impression that Anirudh worked to his fullest on this film, for whatever reason. The music simply isn’t up to his mark.

There is a long standing notion in the film industry that Anirudh is capable of single-handedly saving films. But in the case of the Ajith Kumar film perhaps Anirudh felt he simply can’t save this film, regardless of his work.
However, as a product, this film is being touted to be a possible actioner. So had Anirudh delivered his top tier music, the experience would’ve been better.

In the end, it is now being implied that Anirudh simply can’t be blindly trusted as there is a chance that he might take things lightly and come up with mediocre work occasionally.
The next musical work of Anirudh is for Vijay Deverakonda’s version 12, which will have its teaser arriving shortly. It is crucial that Anirudh follows up the good work for Devara with this Vijay Deverakonda’s film now.
