Temple for Samantha

In Alapadu village of Bapatla district, Andhra Pradesh, a car driver named Sandeep has built a temple for actress Samantha. He installed a statue of her inside his own house compound and regularly offers prayers.

On the occasion of Samantha’s birthday, he celebrated by cutting a cake along with local children and also arranged a food donation event.

Sandeep says he was deeply inspired by Samantha’s charity work, which made him her devotee and led him to build this small temple.

Since then, every year on her birthday, he organizes charity activities like feeding orphans and cutting cakes with local kids to celebrate her.

Sandeep became a huge fan of Samantha after watching her debut film Ye Maaya Chesave in 2010. He was especially touched by her efforts through Pratyusha Foundation, where she helped children undergo heart surgeries.

Impressed by her kindness and social work, he decided to honor her not just as an actress, but as a goddess. The Samantha temple went viral when it was first built, and every April 28th, it trends again on social media.
