Superstar Mahesh Babu is all set to play Lord Krishna in Devaki Nandana Vasudeva, a film led by his nephew, Ashok Galla.

Mahesh, who traditionally supports family projects through pre-release events or social media, has made a rare decision to appear onscreen in this film as Lord Krishna who will be seen in Ugra Swaroopam avatar in the climax. The CGI for this shot is currently under work.

We don’t know if Mahesh has shot for this scene or if it is designed completely using VFX.

Mahesh Babu and Lord Krishna have been one of the most discussed topics on social media for quite some time.

If this is real, trolls will be eager to feast on it, and as soon as the first show screens, Mahesh’s clip will be shared on social media for fun and trolling. It may not help draw Mahesh Babu fans to theaters.

This film is directed by Arjun Jandyala, and produced by Somineni Balakrishna under Lalithambika Productions. The story is written by the Hanu Man fame Prasanth Varma.

The film’s music is composed by Bheems Ceciroleo, with cinematography by Prasad Murella and Rasool Ellore.

Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu is preparing for his next globe-trotting project, SSMB29, directed by SS Rajamouli.




Fans can expect this ambitious venture to hit screens in the next 2-3 years, with Rajamouli’s team currently exploring locations in Africa for the film.
