‘Devara’ is a crucial film for both the director and the hero. Director Koratala Siva faced massive humiliation with his last film and needs to deliver a resounding hit to get back into the star directors’ league. NTR needs a hit to continue his pan-India dream post ‘RRR.’
So far, if we notice the material that has come out, including the latest poster today, everything sets an out-and-out serious tone for the film.

Films like ‘Pushpa,’ though set in a mass backdrop, have a lighter tone along with mass madness to balance the entertainment.
But in the case of ‘Devara’ so far, it is all one way. All the posters and the ‘Fear Song’ set a dead serious tone for the film, more like ‘KGF 2’ or ‘Salaar.’

Devara, produced by Sudhakar Mikkilineni under Yuvasudha Arts, with N.T.R. Arts also having a stake in the production, is set to be released on October 10, 2024.
