
AP Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan expressed his anger over the Telugu film industry. He asked if any of the representatives of film associations come and respectfully meet AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, after the alliance government came to power.
He asked the film fraternity and top stars if they had forgotten how the past government treated them. Though it has been a year since the alliance government has been in power, the industry leaders did not come to meet the CM, pointed out Pawan Kalyan.

We had called the fraternity to come together. But none have responded. The past government would work in favour of stars they liked and harass others. Have you forgotten that, the Deputy CM questioned.
I told top producers Dil Raju, Suresh Babu, Y Supriya, Naveen Yerneni, Allu Arvind, C Aswini Dutt, Chinababu to come together, so that we can develop the film industry. Still, they come whenever they have a release, they come to the Cinematography Minister and ask for ticket price hikes and other demands.

You have given a good return gift. I will respond accordingly and do away with one-on-one meetings. I will talk to the respective departments regarding industry issues, said Pawan Kalyan in his statement.
He later discussed about theaters, the facilities and complaints of people, with officials. He directed them to oversee the exorbitant prices of snacks and beverages in theaters and non-availability of water in some multi-plexes.

The Deputy CM further directed the officials to check the prices of food items and beverages in multi-plexes in Vijayawada, Vizag, Nellore, Guntur, Rajamahendravaram, Kakinada and Tirupati.
Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan is planning to focus on the 24 departments involved in film-making and bring in the latest technology to the film industry.
