The first single “Sailore” from the upcoming pan-India film Ghaati, starring Anushka Shetty, is finally out.
With rich visuals, vibrant choreography, and a strong folk wedding vibe, the song blends rustic charm with polished production.

The visuals are packed with kolatams, pallakis, and energetic group dances. Credit also goes to Manoj Reddy Katasani’s cinematography, Thota Tharani’s art direction, and Raju Sundaram’s choreography for elevating the song’s festive spirit.
But while the song is winning praise for its technical brilliance and festive mood, Anushka Shetty’s fans aren’t celebrating.

In the nearly four-minute lyrical video, Anushka appears for less than 5 seconds—a blink-and-you-miss presence that has left fans disappointed.
Given her star power, zero public appearances, and the fact that Ghaati marks a much-awaited return, many feel she deserves far better visibility—especially in key promotional song videos like this. Or else, who would come to theatres if the makers keep hiding Anushka in songs and promos?

The frustration is palpable on social media, with fans questioning the promotional strategy. “When a star like Anushka agrees to do a film after a long break, not highlighting her in the first song feels like a disservice,” one comment read.
Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, Ghaati stars Anushka Shetty and Vikram Prabhu, and is set for a July 11 release across five languages. Expectations are high, particularly around Anushka’s role.
Fans now hope the film itself will offer her the space and depth that this song clearly did not.
