Hyderabad IMAX

Recently, there was a glimmer of hope. Asian Group’s Suniel Narang said they were planning to bring IMAX back, possibly opening a new screen in Hakimpet within two years. Excitement began building again — was the dream finally coming true?

However, in an unexpected twist, IMAX Corporation’s Vice President, Preetham Daniel, publicly denied these reports.

He said no agreement had been made with Asian Cinemas, though IMAX is in talks with various groups to return to Hyderabad. That statement has left fans confused and disappointed once again.

For now, the wait continues. IMAX in Hyderabad remains just a dream — but hopefully not for too long. All eyes are now on what Suniel Narang has to say next.
