But Indian 2, titled as Hindustani 2 in Hindi, is unexpectedly defying expectations.
After a dismal opening day, earning just Rs. 1.25 crores in Hindi, the film’s collections dropped even further on its first Saturday. Hindustani 2 managed only Rs. 1 crore on its second day, bringing its two-day total to a mere 2.25 crores net. The film has faced outright rejection from the audience.

At the all-India level, Indian 2 collected nearly 25 crores net on its first day, performing well in the Nizam / Andhra regions. However, collections have dropped heavily across the board, with Nizam / Andhra taking the hardest hit.
The worldwide gross for Indian 2 was around 55 crores on its first day but fell to just 30 crores on the second day. This brings the total worldwide collections to approximately 85 crores in two days, which is disastrous.
