Allu Arjun has been facing significant challenges recently. First, there was the controversy surrounding the election campaign, followed by reports of friction with the Mega family.

He also encountered huge social media negativity and trolling, and to add to that, the release of Pushpa 2 was postponed from August 15.

Now, reports suggest that his collaboration with director Atlee has been called off due to Atlee’s high remuneration demands of 80-100 crores, which the producers couldn’t meet.

Could this be another setback for Allu Arjun?

Atlee gained immense popularity after his last film, Jawan, featuring Shah Rukh Khan, shattered records and grossed 1200 crores worldwide, becoming an all-time blockbuster. A project with Atlee could have potentially led to another pan-India success for Allu Arjun.

However, Atlee is known more for delivering commercial masala films rather than groundbreaking cinema. His films often draw from established formulas with routine flashback sequences, appealing strongly to the masses which they forget after some time.

Especially among Telugu cinephiles, Atlee isn’t a director who holds much value.

While missing out on an Atlee film may mean a loss of a potential hit, it may not be a significant setback for Allu Arjun.

Collaborating with directors like Prashanth Neel or Sandeep Reddy Vanga could offer a more promising career graph for Allu Arjun than working with Atlee.

Things might become more clear after the release of Pushpa 2.
