A tweet from a YSRCP social media user provoked him by using unparliamentary language and dragging the hero into a matter he was not at all involved in. This is how they often try to trigger others for attention, and Sai Dharam Tej easily fell for it.
Setting aside the issue and Sai Tej’s response, he’s giving the impression that he’s more interested in politics than films these days.

He was last seen in Virupaksha in a relatively minor role, and there is no clarity on when his next film will be released. He should focus more on films; otherwise, there’s a danger of him quickly fading from public memory.
