Coming to the topic, it could perhaps be said that NTR has done the right thing by picking Anirudh Ravichander to compose the music for the film.

Had it been another music composer, the anticipation on the sound track wouldn’t have been as much. It is true that other contemporaries could have delivered equally good music like Anirudh but the kind of social media talk around Anirudh’s work is unparalleled.

Good or bad, Anirudh’s music leads to discussions on social media as he is the mainstream superstar musician on social media. Luckily for Devara, all the tunes that Anirudh delivered thus far are grabbing the attention.

There are very few directors in Indian cinema who can add value to a film with their music alone and Anirudh is right up there on this list.

Though a Hukum type mass elevation song is missing, the Fear Song is doing the job just fine for NTR here. Chuttamalle is anyways making a whole lot of noise, followed by Daavudi.

In the end, NTR did appear to have done the right thing by picking Anirudh above other alternatives and has also fulfilled the long standing wish of his fans.
