As the promotional campaign of Devara has gotten underway, the makers have held an interview with Sandeep Reddy Vanga and the promo of the same was unveiled earlier today.
While the coming together of Vanga and NTR, albeit for an interview might be in exciting in itself, the nature of the interview has a huge shortcoming.

Needless to say, both Vanga and NTR come across as strongly opinionated individuals with great oratory skills. They both have an intense side to them that very few directors and actors have.
So, the interview for Devara must have had more of a generic vibe rather than a standard promotional campaign template.

Vanga, NTR, Koratala, Saif and Janhvi sitting for an interview has a standard interview vibe but it doesn’t quite pack the right kind of vibe.
Instead, a more generic conversation-type interview with NTR, Vanga, and Koratala might have been far more exciting. For instance, Rajamouli did something of this sort for RRR where he and Vanga sat down in a park and conversed about several topics.

Had NTR, Vanga, and Koratala sat down for a candid convo and discussed a wide array of topics pertaining to Telugu cinema, it would have been more appealing.
Going by the promo of Devara, it is evident that the interview is canned in a studio and it has a standard approach. This way, the team has missed a trick.
