The controversy surrounding Pushpa 2 has intensified as Rajput leader Raj Shekhawat expressed his anger over the film allegedly insulting the Kshatriya community.

The issue stems from Fahadh Faasil’s character, Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat, a corrupt police officer in the movie, which the leader claims malign the Shekhawat name.

Shekhawat took to X (formerly Twitter) to share his discontent. In a strongly worded post, he stated, “Pushpa 2 movie has a negative role of ‘Shekhawat,’ again an insult to Kshatriyas. Karni Sainiks be ready, the producer of the movie will be thrashed soon.”

He reiterated these concerns in a video, alleging that the repeated use of the Shekhawat name in a negative light disrespects the community.

He further warned the makers of the film to remove references to the Shekhawat name or face severe consequences. “This industry has been insulting Kshatriyas in the name of freedom of speech. The makers will be thrashed badly inside their homes if they fail to comply,” Shekhawat said.

One specific scene in the movie has particularly enraged the community, where Allu Arjun’s character, Pushpa, urinates on Fahadh Faasil’s character, Shekhawat. This portrayal has been deemed highly offensive by the Rajput leader, who has demanded immediate corrective action from the filmmakers.
