Initially pitched to Ram Charan, the project ultimately landed with VD after Charan opted for Game Changer. Now, with the teaser out, many believe Charan may have let go of a far superior film.

The teaser promises a grand, content-driven spectacle with stunning visuals, an intense period narrative, and powerful music. Gowtam Tinnanuri has crafted an expansive world based on past events in Sri Lanka, hinting at the potential for a sequel.
The visuals, shot composition, and overall scale are being hailed as some of the best in Tollywood in recent times. Vijay Deverakonda, too, looks stellar in a role that could redefine his career.

Reports suggest that Charan was interested in the film but had to drop it due to the allure of working with a director like Shankar in Game Changer. Even producer Dil Raju indirectly confirmed this on Balakrishna’s Unstoppable show.
With Game Changer turning into a major embarrassment and epic disaster, Charan’s fans now regret the decision, believing Kingdom would have been a far better choice.

Backed by Sithara Entertainments and featuring Bhagyashree Borse as the female lead, Kingdom has set high expectations. With the teaser making waves, VD’s fans are eager to see if the film can capitalize on what Ram Charan let slip away.
