Kuberaa Box Office Collections

After a strong start over the weekend, Kuberaa witnessed a noticeable drop on its first Monday at the Indian box office, collecting approximately Rs.7.25 crore in gross.

The Dhanush and Nagarjuna starrer is now facing pressure to maintain momentum during the weekdays to break even.

The Telugu version continues to lead the film’s performance, contributing Rs. 5 crore on Monday alone. Tamil brought in Rs.2 crores, while Hindi dipped further, earning just Rs.25 lakhs. With this, the film’s total gross in India stands at around Rs.60 crores.

In the US, it is holding relatively better and has grossed around USD 1.625 million, while the rest of the world has contributed another USD 1.05 million.

Which means Overseas, it has added Rs.23 crores, taking the worldwide gross to approximately 83 crores.

While Kuberaa had an excellent weekend with day-on-day growth, the sharp Monday drop is worrying. The Tamil version has almost collapsed, and the Hindi version never took off.

The entire weight of the film now rests on its Telugu performance. Unfortunately, Telugu box office trends suggest quick burnout after opening weekends, which may already be happening here.

This year has been bleak for the Telugu film industry, with barely any major hits since January’s Sankranti releases. Kuberaa looked promising as a potential relief, but its Monday dip has slightly dented those hopes.

To recover its costs, the film needs at least Rs.120 crores in gross earnings, translating to about 55–60 crore in distributor share.

With its current trend, Kuberaa must hold steady through the weekdays. Any further drops could prevent it from earning a HIT tag at the box office.
